1981 was a milestone signature year for the Corvette. Other than 53' this year represented the last production of the Corvette at the St. Louis plant and last year of the carburetor engine and the 1st year in the Bowling Green Kentucky state of the art plant. Corvettes were produced in both plants that year, the Vin numbers identify which plant and what series number it was produced. This is the # 450th car that rolled off the production line in Bowling Green and there were less Than 250 ever produced with the two tone silver/ dark blue paint snd4 speed transmission
