1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Additional Info:
Do to some unexpected medical bills I am selling my 55. My buddy who works at a local high end hot rod shop put this car together. It was put together to get up and go. And let me just say it hooks up and does go!It has a 496 stroker engine. Only the best of parts were used. Eagle rotating assembly, Brodix 10.5:1 heads, probe skirt coated pistons, billet timing gears, MSD billet distributor, MSD box. Tunnel Ram with Rebuilt dual Holley double pumpers, munciee M22 with Lakewood bellhousing. Center force II clutch. Hydraulic throw out bearing. 1968 Dana 60 with 4:11 powerlock posi, Currie axles converted over to sealed bearing. Ladder bars. New radiator, gas tank. I would say the front fenders, doors, and roof are almost ready for paint. The quarters and deck lid could probably use another heavy coats of primer and some blocking. I have 2 gallons of Eastwood's night blue metallic paint to go with it. I have the front and rear glass, no side glass, I have door panels, arm rest and a new carpet kit. And various other interior parts. The Chevelle bucket seats have been restored. I have no back seat. The floors are solid, it looks like they had repairs at one time. But it was done correctly. The trunk has one little spot of rust in the very back corner. This was a frame off restoration. It has been undercoated underneath. If you are a car guy, you know what it takes put one of these cars together. If there was any other way to avoid selling it. I would not be selling it.You well not be disappointed!!!
