When you have the last of the great Chevelles, you know you want it to look like this. The mean attitude of the slick black paint and serious V8 power meets luxury features, like the vinyl top and an A/C interior. Plus, you've got a ton of modern upgrades, including fuel injection, LED lighting, and a six-speed all put into the mix. The result is a 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle restomod that's built to drive anywhere and look good everywhere.... This is a dream car for most of us. After all, this generation of Chevelle coupe had the sporty fastback roofline, pillarless hardtop profile, and bright chrome bumpers that hug the body. And we love the '72s because it was the final time we got it all of this. So it's nice to see someone take the time to make a solid investment in this classic. It starts with the great first impression made by the paint. The black has a deep shine that loves to show off this coupe's curves. Plus, black is a great color for all the extra intimidation that comes from the super scoop cowl hood, SS stripes, tinted windows, hood pins, and full SS badging. Plus, the black vinyl roof turns the dark appeal up a notch with a vintage double-black look. And while all of this has a great classic style, the LED headlight and taillights give the car a touch of modern that also hints at more upgrades within. The white stripes on the outside are a nice accent to get you ready for the full white interior. The Chevelle might have been the intermediate Chevy of the '70s, but today that means plenty of room for family and friends. There are even some nice upgrades to keep them all happy, like the ice-cold R134a air conditioning and a retro-style radio that features upgraded speakers, an iPod input, and Bluetooth. But what really will have you excited is how much this is a driver's machine. The bucket seats, center console, and classic three-spoke sports steering wheel (power steering) deliver that vintage muscle car feeling. But this is a true restomod, and you know that the moment you spot the upgraded Dakota Digital full gauge package. And have you counted the gears on the Hurst shifter yet? Under the hood is the unmistakable look of big block power. But just like the rest of this coupe, you can also see this classic motor has been given plenty of modern investments. The overall tidy look means you really notice the details, like the polished valve covers and billet hood hinges. But more than just looking great, you're going to love this motor for its substance. It's a 402 cubic-inch V8 that has been upgraded with Edelbrock aluminum heads, an Edelbrock RPM air gap intake, and topped with a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system. And those long tube headers add even more power while contributing to the rumble of the dual exhaust. You even have the right supporting components, like a Wilwood master cylinder and a newer radiator. And you'll really love that you have full control over this monster motor and its thunderous soundtrack thanks to the Tremec six-speed manual transmission (featuring short shifter and mild clutch.) A powerful package like this need the right suspension pieces, and that's why you have Wilwood front disc brakes, modern Cooper tires on the classic SS mag-style wheels, and a the SS-style rear end with box trailing arms and a sway bar. You can tell there have been all the right investments in this one, right down to the clean undercarriage photos. It's a total package classic that leaves you wanting for nothing. Call today!!!
