1988 Chevrolet Camaro Iroc-Z28 Additional Info:
I am the 2nd owner and I have had it for 3 years now and have only driven it about 1,200 miles. The original owner purchased it new and lived in Apple Valley, CA and stored it in his garage. Apple Valley, CA is a desert area and very dry. This has helped this car stay rust free and in excellent condition. The color of this car is Medium Orange Metallic and is original and only was available in 1988 with only 3,010 ever being produced.
As you can see from the pictures, the paint is in great condition with very few blemishes. The only thing that I know of that does not work is the tripometer. The odometer works fine, but the tripometer stays at zero. There is rust developing under the t-top (not the body of the car...just the black metal trim for the t-tops)
The only things that are modified or after-market are:• Steering wheel (original steering wheel is included)• Hooker Headers• Gear Shifter. It is a short throw which is more fun (original is included)• I have the new Hawks Motor Sports Iroc-Z28 17" re-manufactured wheels with new tires (purchased this spring with only 100 miles on them)I have all 4 of the original wheels wheels, which are in amazing condition. I only took a picture of one of them, since I have them stored in boxes in my garage...they all look the same anyways)• Hyperchip installed with the cold thermostat (original chip and thermostat are included)• Flowmaster Exhaust - sounds great
I wanted to keep the look of this car the same as factory...all modified parts are from the previous owner except the wheels/tires.
I just had factory power windows and power locks installed by a professional automobile wiring company. This is why there are holes in the doors where the handles used to be. I also had them install a brand new GM power antenna which looks great.
This car's unique color, original factory leather interior, excellent condition, and original appearance make this very special.
I hope to find someone as passionate as I was about this car to take car of it and enjoy it.
