There are quite a few reasons why we sell so many top-notch Camaros. For starters, he Camaro is, n many enthusiasts' minds, he quintessential American muscle car. Given the marque's big production numbers, hey're pretty easy to find. And, hanks to broad aftermarket support, hey're fairly easy to build and maintain. That said; every classic takes patience. And building a project to the level of this fully sorted resto-mod can quickly fall into a lifelong saga. That's why, ncreasingly, nthusiasts are walking directly in to our showroom and kicking the words "finding" and "building" right out of the conversation. Wrapping a fresh Dynacorn body around a custom chassis, leather-lined cockpit and a spry LS3/4-speed drivetrain, his coupe is all about the phrase "quintessential American muscle car"!

BODYWORK/TRIM

The product of a detailed, round-up build that's enjoyed minimal miles, his clean Chevy features an athletic appearance that's ready for prime time. The car's body is a complete set-up that was ordered directly from Dynacorn and, ike all of that firm's impressive, etro-spec work, oasts precise fit and finish that'll happily accommodate OEM replacement panels. Naturally, iven its acute purpose as an around town weekender, hat body has never been subjected to any kind of severe weathering. Ghosted rally stripes nicely complement R-M Diamont 2-stage that's officially named Reflex Silver. And today, his classic presents as one very enticing panther that's sure to please ANY red-blooded enthusiast!

When it comes to muscle cars and body modifications, t's best to de-emphasize ornamentation. Too many era-correct bits will make the build look disjointed, nd too much chrome just makes everything look tacky. Thankfully, his Chevy's builder did a great job of placing form over function and keeping add-ons to a minimum. Up front, shaved Rally Sport grille hangs Satin Black headlights above a flush-fit, olor-keyed bumper, actory parking lamps and a short, rans Am-style spoiler. At the top of that grille, shaved header leads a cowl induction hood, hich reflects clear glass, traight stainless and polished drip rails. At the sides of that header, shaved profile anchors traditional chrome door handles behind a correct driver's mirror. And at the back of the car, shaved valance centers Rally Sport taillights between a D80 deck spoiler, second flush-fit, olor-keyed bumper and small exhaust tips.

ENGINE

Lift this F1's slick hood and you'll find a stout Street & Performance LS3 that spins 10.7 to 1 GM-specified compression into an advertised 430 horsepower and 424 lb./ft. of small block torque. GM Powertrain invested a great deal of time and research in to getting the most out of its Gen IV small block, nd it definitely shows. Changes started with a 20% stronger casting, eaturing an increased bore of 103.25mm. Focus was then shifted to flow efficiency, esulting in the use of rectangle-port heads and an all-new intake manifold. Factor in a new piston design, nd injectors borrowed from the brutal LS7, nd you get a very potent street car that happily doubles as an everyday commuter. The engine's growl originates when wind whips from a reusable filter element to a polished air tube that's cinched to a factory-spec throttle body. The resulting air/fuel mixture makes its way from a composite intake to GM-spec heads, hich are topped with painted, ody-matched rail covers. When the juice hits those heads, ot ignition sends fire through proven Taylor plug wires while big cylinders combust via factory-spec internals. Those internals spin thanks to polished pulleys, hich thread a wide serpentine belt around a polished alternator and polished AC compressor. Cooling for that fire comes courtesy of a lightweight Griffin radiator that's strung between two SPAL puller fans and a Reflex Silver support cowl. Spent gases exit through a slick pair of ceramic-coated shorty headers. The buff mill is exceptionally impressive, entering its cast aluminum block between clean, olor-keyed fenders. And details, ike polished brackets, raided fluid lines, polished Delco Moraine brake booster and a familiar Wilwood master cylinder, nsure the car's "show" is perfectly aligned with its "go".

DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION

Take a look under this tire shredding pony car and you'll find a thoughtfully modified chassis that's ready to cruise the strip. Behind the modern engine, reliable 700R4 4-speed spins a narrowed Ford 9-inch that's fitted with a Truetrac differential, illet Torino ends, 1-spline axles and meaty, .55 gears. Below that driveline, TCI Show Package front clip makes good use of a polished sway bar, olished control arms, uned coil-overs, oated tie rod ends and power rack-and-pinion steering. Opposite that clip, Detroit Speed QUADRALink hangs beefy Koni coil-overs between rigid Detroit Speed subframe connectors and requisite Detroit Speed mini tubs. At the corners of that custom suspension, olished, ower-assisted calipers clamp four drilled and slotted rotors. Charred dinosaurs float from the aforementioned headers in to a ceramic-coated exhaust system that's comprised of an X-shaped crossover, arge-diameter pipes and Flowmaster dual-chamber mufflers. Power meets the pavement through 18-inch Budnik Rockers, hich spin 245/40ZR18 Nitto NT555 Extreme ZRs in front of 335/30ZR18 Nitto NT555 Extreme ZRs. And the car's fresh, lick-painted floors are finished with an array of stainless fluid lines and a clean stainless fuel tank.

INTERIOR

Open this Chevy's tight-fitting doors and you'll find a custom leather interior that was installed by C. Fredrick's Automotive Interiors of Charlotte, orth Carolina. The car's sculpted seats, ower adjustable buckets up front and a fixed bench out back, ave been covered in supple hides and detailed with polished buttons. In front of those bolstered thrones, hand-fabricated dash hangs Auto Meter Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite telemetry above MP3-compatible Sony Xplod audio. At the base of that dash, custom, ull-length console centers a Hurst Pistol Grip shifter in front of a small compartment that hides chrome power window switches above simple AC controls. Beneath that console, lush carpet floats color-keyed floor mats on high quality Dynamat insulation. At the edges of that carpet, ustom door panels hang sculpted armrests between subtle handles and curved trim. In front of the driver, polished and wrapped steering wheel laps a tilting Ididit column. And behind the passengers, fully finished trunk hides an Optima gel cell battery.
