An absolutely stunning 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle El Camino Pro-Touring. For those who follow my auctions, you'll know I only sell the best when it comes to desirable classic cars both modern and vintage. For me, when it comes to classic muscle, nothing speaks more to me than one that can be driven. Not just driven to the car shows here and there, but driven because you just feel like you want to drive it any day of the week for any reason. When it comes to most vintage muscle cars, that ideal is rarely found. Either the car is too original and overly restored to a point that you don’t want to risk driving it daily or in many cases, it’s just not reliable enough to put your mind at ease. Well, the answer that most collectors have found to resolve drivability issues is to simply modify their cars with modern amenities. Some are highly modified and others more simplistically.

As you read and view the pictures of this incredible 1964 El Camino, you will see that the highly modified approach was executed perfectly on this build. More importantly, it was obviously done by a builder that knew exactly how you the buyer would probably like to have it built if you were building it. A build like this is not just a bolt it on in a weekend project. As we go through a detailed build process it’ll astound you at the attention to details we see and disclose and well as what you will be able to see as well. We want you to know what you are getting for your investment. and best of all, as it always is, your investment in money and time will be substantially less that what the builder put into this incredible car.
The history that we know of with this 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle El Camino Pro-Touring is pretty simple. A wealthy local business owner from Las Vegas loves cars. He has a great passion for them in many forms, from the vintage to the modern and everything in between. He buys them to enjoy them and then has me sell them. We also help him to buy unique rides and insure that he buys quality. We met earlier this year and I reviewed the cars he owns and that he bought over the last few years. Some I get pretty excited about because I see their quality and know that they are incredible cars. This is one of those exciting cars. Mostly because it was built so right. So let’s talk more about the car and what is has to offer.
We detailed the car, took pictures and listed it on online. What else did we need to do? Oh yeah, we invited a beautiful model to do one of our photoshoots with the car to catch your attention even more. But trust me, she doesn't come with the car, so don't send me that stupid question asking if she does. Pictures of her with the car do come with the sale. If your wife doesn’t approve, we apologize, this is Vegas and we love to entertain.
The body metal of this car is very straight too. Panel fitment is exceptional. I don’t believe the paint finish on the car was exceptional as I can see small imperfections here and there, but overall, it would show very nice. Just don’t want our buyer expecting flawless perfection...and at the price this El Camino can be won at, we are certain the buyer will be pleased. We found a few chips and finish flaws in the but nothing unsightly anywhere on the body. We have also taken close up pictures of any of the areas we found so you too can see what we see. The paint finish quality overall is highly polished and reflects like you see in the pictures. Doors, trunk and hood open and close like new. No sagging or improper fitment. The functionality of the car is exceptional as well. The car was insulated and it drives excellent. The engine bay again, like the rest of the car speaks volumes about the builder’s intent. The modified for performance 350ci Crate Motor under the hood is nothing less than pure bling under the hood. From a single tap of the key, you’ll know you have awakened this El Camino with a growl from the Flowmasters behind the ceramic headers. 2.5 inch exhaust pipes with a crossover are not meant to tame this beast at all. She’s not a Horse Power monster by any means, but you can tell there is a shift kit and a cam working together to give plenty of power. At this point, I believe it would be good just to list out the items we’ve found within this build. Hopefully you won’t get bored with seeing a list that would more than likely execute a four times what it would take you to build yourself.

This car started out life as a 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle El Camino 2dr Sedan Custom V8 built in the Van Nuys Plant in Los Angeles, California. It is easy to see that the build was a fully dismantled rotisserie build. The body was fully disassembled; media blasted and to bare metal and any and all metal work was preformed to high standards. The frame was media blasted and painted and many of the other undercarriage components were powder coated. Visually underneath the car is truly a “Car Guy’s” treat. No expenses were spared and the finish work where most never look is top shelf. Nothing under the car looks less than top level professional workmanship. Most importantly, this El Camino was a “Rust Free” body and frame to begin with. We couldn’t see any evidence of metal replacement or repair.

I am a “used car dealer” but before that, I’m an automobile enthusiast. I love original, rare and high quality modified vintage and modern cars. Over the past 15 years I’ve been in business, I have come to appreciate an expanding selection of high-demand, high value vehicles as well. I specialize in and I am always on the lookout for cars and trucks that were cherished by their previous owners.
I have an experienced eye for quality and I’ve discovered that my preferred buyers can instantly discern such a vehicle and I have therefore, built my business and reputation around finding these kinds of cars for this type of customer. Super low miles and/or gentle ownership are strict requirements but a car must do something for me on a personal level if there is any hope of convincing you, the buyer, that this is an above average, exceptional vehicle. If nothing about the car excites me, it probably won’t do much for you either and I would soon be out of business.
With just four employees and no sales people, I realize how unusual a “dealership” like mine may be at a first glance. It has taken great care and effort to create such an organization and often, an unusually high investment in a particular car we are about to list. To sell the best it is critical to have a trusted expert in my corner. First we do an exhaustive 130 point inspection on each and every vehicle and hope nothing escapes our methodical investigation. Experience has shown that everything I spend making a car truly “right” will come back to me not only with a higher selling price, but a happy customer that says good things about Collector's Dream Cars. Moreover, it allows us to describe the car with ease and confidence, something that simply is not possible unless we think it is true. If major issues are found or the cost of fixing the car the way it should be makes it too expensive to sell, my choice is an easy one. I simply absorb a few hundred dollars loss for my trouble and sell it at auction so you don’t get a headache over the vehicle.
After the vehicle is fully checked over and made whole at any level it needs to be, we researches its history, documents, documenting originality and authenticity. Historical significance, rarity, special features, possible modifications, and much more are used to accurately describe the vehicle with integrity and honesty. Most important for the potential buyer are the 100 to 200 high resolution pictures that I take myself. The pricey equipment I use would be right at home in the hands of the very best professional photographers and I’ve developed a logical format that walks you around the entire vehicle with close-up shots of every square inch. I provide detailed views of the interior, under the hood and then put it on a lift to show the undercarriage and confirm that the beauty of the car you are considering is not merely skin deep. Even our detailers are enthusiastic about the cars they meticulously clean. Reconditioning can sometimes take several days as we do all that we can within reason to get our vehicles in tip top condition visually and cosmetically. We do Way more than just a cheap detail. Our details are more like refurbishing to as close to new as we can possibly get our vehicles.
Usually, I’ll also include a high definition video that shows the car doing its thing. If it’s a fast car, we film it going fast. If it’s a 4x4 you’ll see it crawling up a hill. In every case you will hear things like a rumbling exhaust, working sound system and watch gauges operation as well.
No “dealer,” on-line or in the real world, takes it to this level. No other seller or organization provides you, the buyer, with so much information. I do this because it is the only way I can convince a person; often a world away, unable to touch or feel their purchase that my vehicle is for real and what I say is an honest assessment. All the above is necessary for me to stay in business while keeping integrity intact. I want every buyer to be happy and I need glowing feedback on eBay. To accomplish that I need satisfied customers that are as thrilled with their purchase as I was when I bought it.
If you have any questions at all, please call me on my cell at: 702-353-7500. If your inquiry is sincere and your offer is serious, you’ll find me the most accommodating business partner you’ve ever dealt with. If you call or e-mail asking for my reserve or “what is my bottom line” I will be looking for ways to politely end the conversation. Until you are ready to actually make an offer, I will happily quote you a liberal suggested retail price – a number we both know will not buy the car so, don’t waste your time, or mine. I am after all, a “used car dealer.”

We will happily do whatever is required to assist a legitimate bidder that intends to purchase the vehicle with their transaction.
