This 1949 Chevrolet 3100 is a full custom mix of vintage and new worlds wrapped in an intimidating matte black. So as you look at all the details (like the 5-window cab, V8 power, overdrive transmission, and A/C interior,) you'll soon realize the truck you've always wanted to build is already here, and it's ready to roll today. This pickup just gets cooler the longer you look at it. For example, you'd expect the matte black paint to... be lackluster, but this one has a subtle shine that seems as aggressively elegant as a heavyweight boxer in a finely tailored suit. This extra elegance is because the color is actually borrowed from the Mercedes G-Wagon palette when it was applied in 2017. The rest of the truck is part of a frame-off restoration in 2013, and it has gone less than 1,300 miles since then. So that's why it all looks so crisp, including iconic five-slat chrome grille, real wood truck bed, and two-piece wheel covers with whitewalls. And everyone loves the desirable five-window cab. While this all has a great vintage look, the lowered stance combines with the distinct paint to give the impression this is much more than just a classic ride. Inside, the black continues, and now it's joined by a slick silver on the dash and doors to deliver a well-coordinated color combo. The whole setup ideally mixes original style with modern components. Probably the best example of this is the bench seat. It doesn't look too out of place for a classic Chevy, but it has much more padding and includes seatbelts to deliver a much more comfortable experience than the standard pickup. This was built with the driver in mind, including a banjo-style three-spoke steering wheel on a tilt column. Beyond that, the art deco gauges have a clean look. But even the passengers won't go wanting, thanks to a modern AM/FM/CD stereo and cold-blowing air conditioning. You're going to love showing off the engine bay everywhere you park this pickup. The slick metallic silver from the interior returns on the smooth fender walls and firewall to deliver an award-worthy preparation. Plus, they spent a small fortune on polished components. More than just look terrific, you'll appreciate the power from this upgraded 307 cubic-inch V8. It has an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and headers that add power while contributing to the rumble of the dual exhaust. Plus, you have the right supporting components, including an aluminum radiator w/electric fan to help keep this classic running cool even when you're in traffic with the A/C pumping. And don't forget to undercarriage photos. There you'll also spot other great features like the updated chassis with a Camaro front end, thick sway bar, and Firebird rear. There's even power steering and power brakes with discs up front. So if this is starting to sound like a pickup that's great to drive anywhere near or far, you'd be quite right. It even has a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive. The sale comes with build receipts and restoration photos. This one draws attention wherever it goes, and it's built to comfortably take you everywhere. Call today!!!
