GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this absolutely immaculate 1928 Chevrolet AB National Sport Cabriolet. This stunning classic comes in a brilliant green paint job complimented by gorgeous black accents and a clean olive interior. Powering this historic vehicle is a rebuilt 171 cubic inch 4 cylinder motor mated to a 3 speed manual transmission. A full restoration was completed on the AB starting in 2009 and completed in 2010. The current owner is a historic vehicle collector and... as such everything on this vehicle is top notch. As a testament to the restoration quality, the AB won the best of the best award from the Vintage Chevy Club of America as well as multiple other awards. So, if you're in the market for an America classic, you will be hard pressed to find a better example anywhere. Please call or email us today for more information. The Chevrolet Series AB National (or Chevrolet National) is an American vehicle manufactured by Chevrolet in 1928 to replace the 1927 Series AA Capitol. Over three-quarters of a million Series ABs were manufactured in a variety of body styles. Looking very similar to the 1927 Series AA Capitol, the wheelbase of the Series AB was increased by four inches to 107in. The updated look was one of the first projects from GM's Art & Color studio. The Series AB was powered by Chevrolet's old 171ci four-cylinder engine, but with minor modifications to produce 35hp at 2,200 rpm. Four-wheel braking was also now provided.
