1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS Additional Info:
It's time to sell the toys. I'm selling my 1967 Chevy Camaro SS Convertible. I bought this car for the wife 2 years ago with a mid 70s 350 in it. The wife couldn't stand dealing with the way a carburetor works so I decided to drop a modern drive train into the car. So the motor (although labeled as an LS3) is actually a 2008 L76 out of a Pontiac G8 GT. The L76 is basically a hybrid LS2/LS3. It has the 6.0L bottom end with the LS3 top end. It also came with active fuel management which is disabled in this car. Also has the 6L80E 6 speed automatic transmission from that same G8. The last picture shows the drivetrain prior to installation. It has a completely new drivetrain wiring harness and Dakota Digital dash. Everything works exactly as it should and the car starts/runs/drives just like you would expect a late model car to drive. The car has the deluxe interior and custom center console with a shifter from a C6 corvette. The stereo is secret audio with bluetooth and hands free phone pairing. The exhaust is long tube headers into a dual 2.5" Magnaflow exhaust that sounds great. Tires are all in great condition and the car has been pampered as the wife drives it to car shows and around town. The power convertible top works exactly as it should as well as the power windows (although the windows probably could use a greasing to speed them up some). No rips or tears in the interior. It has won several first place and people's choice awards at various local car shows, even beating out my high $$$ Cuda in some of them...
I highly encourage anyone to come check out the car before buying. The car is located in Rochester, NH. We can put it up on the lift as well. I will provide any pictures or videos you may want, just ask. Now, there is NO heating or air conditioning in the car as I removed the heater box to make room for the modern electronics on the interior of the fire wall. Besides, the car isn't driven in bad/cold weather and the top down provides all the A/C one would need. I will provide the heater box with the car in the trunk to the winner.
With the buy-it-now price, I will arrange and pay for open carrier shipping within the continental US. Otherwise, shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
$500 due at close of auction and remainder due within 14 days of auction close. Funds must clear my bank prior to releasing the car. Please ask any questions and I'll be happy to answer them.
