Started life as a very straight 1971 Nova, too nice to build into a drag car in my opnion... original body panels with no wave/body filler. Super straight car. Set up for 1/8th mile... last run in current config was6.263 @ 110.228 mph.Engine is a 496ci solid roller, Harland Sharp roller rockers, steel crank, H-Beam rods, 14:1 compression domed pistons. 12* initial timing 36-38 total. Valve lash 26-28. 700hp. 6 passes since refresh.
TCI Power Glide w/3,500-rpm stall converter. It is connected to a 4-link rear end with 5.38:1 gears.
Centerline 15's w/32×16″ Goodyear D1408 drag slicks.
Full steel tub/roll bar, retains most of original interior. Street legal. Block is NOT filled.
