1955 Chevrolet 210 2 door post with 22,377.Black with blue interior. My friend bought this car from the original owner in 1965 with 13,000 miles on the car. All the information comes from the owner who had the car since 1965.
When he bought the car he pulled the engine and transmission and put a 1965 Corvette 327 365 horsepower engine and transmission in the car.He didn’t butcher the floor doing it.It looks factory. The transmission is an M-21 and the rear end a 4:11 posi. He put the 65 Vette transistor ignition in the car also. The car also has Metallic brakes.
The outside door handles, emblems, and retainers have not been replated. They are original and perfect. The rubber seals in the doors are original and like new. He bought new bumper guards for from GM in 1966.The bumpers are the original chrome and perfect. He repainted the car in 1967 the original black and it is still beautiful. The door panels are original to the car.He put a new GM carpet in the car to replace the black mat. He then took out the cloth seats and put in a naugahide blue interior in the same pattern as the cloth seats. He also put in a blue vinyl headliner. The paint on the dash is original. He also bought a wonder bar radio for the car.He then went crazy chroming everything. Core support, horns, drive shaft, rear end, springs, drums, A frame, brake and clutch pedals, heater box, and a lot more I’m sure I forgot. This car won numerous awards in the 60’s at many national shows.About 25 years ago he pulled the car out of storage and put new heads on the car. They are 302’s from a 69 with 202 valves.
This is a time capsule.Jump in and go.
