Finished in a color that's a cool bright green a little stronger than the original 1974 color, here's no denying the appeal of the C3 bodywork. Everybody, ar person or not, an instantly identify a Corvette like this, nd they remain an icon of performance, ven forty years later. This one is in good condition, oo, ith just 4124 original miles on the build, o it's still quite fresh. The fiberglass is in good shape and the repaint was well done a few years ago, o while it's been driven, ou'll be proud to be seen in it. The '74 model is a favorite among C3 fans, oo, hanks to its combination of the new urethane front and rear bumpers and original flying buttress C-pillars, hich create a unique look. On the '74s, ou also get a removable rear window and T-tops, o it's pretty close to the convertible experience with the ability to button everything up tight. Up front, he marker lights are now LEDs, hile out back there's a handy stainless steel luggage rack that looks great and adds some very welcome practicality. The trim tag says this car originally had a silver interior, nd the color change to tan means that almost everything inside is brand new. The seats are comfortable and inviting with no splitting or tears, he door panels are new, he carpets are amazing, nd the original center console still houses controls for the TH400 3-speed automatic transmission underneath, s well as the engine specifications plaque (it's a lot more powerful than the original L82, y the way). The A/C system has been upgraded with modern hardware working behind the scenes, nd the Sony AM/FM/CD stereo offers a remote control and powerful speakers stashed in the luggage area. All the gauges are bright and functional, nd the lift-off T-tops create an open-air experience that Corvette lovers embrace. If you're the kind of guy who likes long road trips in a cool car, t would be hard to do better than a vintage Corvette like this. The low mileage means the Summit Racing 350 cubic inch crate V8 under the hood is only just now getting broken-in. It's a bit stronger than stock and runs superbly thanks to an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and matching aluminum intake manifold. The Chevy Orange engine enamel is a nice touch and works with the finned valve covers to give it a traditional bowtie look. It fires quickly and easily, ith an appropriately muscular exhaust note thanks to a set of shorty headers and a fresh dual exhaust system. Both the TH400 and the rear end have been recently rebuilt, he brakes use drilled and slotted rotors, nd there are a lot of new components in the suspension, o it rides and drives just as well as you'd expect. Classic Torque Thrust wheels actually look fantastic on this green 'Vette and carry Goodyear Eagle rubber. Join some of the greatest car guys in the world with this fully sorted Stingray.
