This seriously slick 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air has been restored for those who love classic style but also true drivers. For example, the dual-quad V8 under the hood was made from the best Chevy offered over the years, but the four-wheel disc brakes and overdrive transmission are thoroughly modern. While the interior looks vintage, it has been upgraded with pieces like modern air conditioning. So dig deep into an icon that offers the best of everything. This is... the exact kind of car you've imagined cruising the streets in when you had the time/money to really build one right. The black has a deep and hard shine that tells you this a quality modern application. It was part of the full restoration in 2013 that made sure the sheetmetal was terrific to make sure the glossy black would always be looking its best. A great presentation is also on the brightwork, and let's face it, that's what makes the '57 Chevy such a legend. The full-length trim with fan-style rear, dual bullet-style hood ornaments, and gold anodized pieces told the world you had the top Bel Air â€" it all looks awesome against the black. Plus, the full bumper/grille combo is a 10,000-watt smiling icon all on its own. While those 17-inch Ridler wheels fit in with the brightwork, they also signal more upgrades beneath the skin. The black and gray interior has a great dark and bright appearance that feels like it almost mirrors the outside in both color and premium execution. The pattern on the seat inserts look period-correct for this '57 Chevy, which always look great. This harmonizes with the door panels, dash, carpeting, headliner, and steering wheel to deliver a very well-coordinated classic. You can tell there has been money spent here. So it might have a vintage appearance, but everything feels quite fresh. As you look closer, you can see well-integrated upgrade like the AM/FM/cassette stereo with aux input. There's even air conditioning blowing cold with modern R134a. The dark black engine bay has an award-worthy smooth look and a ton of power radiating from within. This is quite an interesting motor, and the classic Corvette script valve covers are the first giveaway. The dual four-barrel carburetors are a proper setup borrowed from a 1961 Corvette. Beneath it is a later/larger 327 cubic-inch L79 high-performance V8. The whole package was redone around 2015, so you know this is a strong and powerful. But it was also built to be a true driver. So you have the right supporting components, like a large aluminum radiator with electric fan (it can help keep this running cool even when you're in traffic with the A/C pumping.) Plus, the transmission was upgraded to a 700R4 unit that's stout to handle the power and provides easy overdrive cruising. You even have crisp rack & pinion power steering and four-wheel disc brakes to really enjoy this classic to the fullest. Here's the hit of every cruise-in that's also reliable enough to take on the Power Tour. It's the kind of Bel Air that you've always wanted, and if you're quick enough, your reward is ready. Call now!
