MOTORChevrolet 305 (rebuild did not require the block to be bored--cylinder pressure tests at 150>165 PSI--reused original intake and cast iron exhaust headers) has a mild performance cam with a mildlope, NEW MOTOR PARTS:bearings/ gaskets/ std rings/ hyd lifters/ push rods/ head bolts/ heads/ std crank/ fuel pump/ water pump/ oil pump/oil filter.
OTHER COMMENTS90% of the original body paint was stripped to metal, then metal prepped and primed.The interior dash and cab were painted. The underside rusty areas were stabilized with Rust Fix and then lightly undercoated.The new floor metal was welded in.The new fenders & doors were undercoated before installing. Was converted to an alternator (not new). All window crank systems were cleaned and lubricated. The old wood bed was removed and a two piece exterior plywood bed was bolted down (painted both sides with drain holes).The bed interior sides were coated with truck bed coating for years of protection.The two rusted saddle tanks were removed (No saddle tanks included) and reinstalled their access doors.Under truck bed spare tire holder with spare. The seat springs & stops were repaired, seat glides were lubricated. It has a wide ratio three speed on the floor with a 12 bolt rear end and overload springs. Scissor jack and lug nut wrench are included. Windshield and rear glass channels were cleaned/prepared before glasses were installed. The truck has only a few miles on the new motor to test drive and install exhaust.The transmission and differential rear end oils were drained and refilled. Has lumber rack but can be easily removed if not wanted. Includes original owner's manual. I have a clear title, not insured, nor tagged for the highway use at this time. The truck has only primer to allow you to select your reliable local body shop to paint it your favorite color.Thebed bolts are new and the it can easily be removed to paint the cab back and bed front. I am providingyou the best information I can so you can determine the trucks value to you. (Will burn rubber)
