1950 Chevrolet Other Additional Info:
A car like this doesn't come around too often.
What we have here is a running 1950 Chevrolet Convertible. With a custom tuned 5.3 LS engine installed it runs smooth with only 55,000 on it. Great daily driver. The car runs with a 4L60E automatic overdrive transmission. There was a custom recessed and smooth firewall built to accommodate the LS engine. When that was done we also installed an all new floor. The trunk was made custom to hold a Mustang fuel tank with in-tank fuel pump.
To make this a custom classic a '51 Ford dash was installed. The dash was narrowed to fit the width of the car and reshaped to fit the doors.'55 Oldsmobile headlights were installed for aesthetic purposes as well as functionality.Inside you will see a Lokar 36" swan neck shifter.Custom air ride suspension was added for that lowrider look and it will lay the frame. The air ride suspension has dual Viair compressors, a stainless steel 9 gallon tank, & asco valves.
The convertible frame is completely in tack (no cloth). We have left the Patina finish on purpose. It has a Ratrod feel with a classic look. It would be easy to throw paint on it.
