1979 Chevrolet Corvette L-82 Additional Info:

1979 Chevrolet L-82 Corvette with only 69,000 miles (low mileage). 350 motor with TH350 automatic transmission. Silver paint with oyster interior. Runs excellent; idles excellent, accelerates great, and shifts strong. Paint and interior are in good condition. Air conditioning was upgraded to R-134 and blows cold. All gauges, options, and lights work. Headlights are new and theyopen and close properly. Brand new t-tops (purchased this year) that seal tight with new t-top bags and new strap for securing in rear compartment. Brand new brake system to include master cylinder, proportioning valve, brake lines, rotors, calipers, pads, parking brake rebuild kit, and miscellaneous hardware. Brand new Edelbrock high performance components which include Thunder Series AVS 650cfmcarburetor with electric choke,Performer EPS intake manifold, Performer-Plus camshaft and lifters, Elite Series air cleaner, and Signature Series valve covers. Brand new performance MSD HEI Pro-Billet distributor with coil, MSD 8.5 wire set. Brand new water pump and brand new Optima Red Top high performance battery. Headers, mandrel bent dual exhaust, and Flowmaster 2-chamber mufflersin great condition. Many other new parts and switches. All body emblems were replaced this year. Electric clock and rear defrost work. Functional power antenna and Pioneer radio/CD player with auxiliary jack. Engine block, heads,and transmission were rebuilt in 1999 along with extensive under hood refurbishing. 4-bolt main, .030 overbore, TRW 10:1 pistons, Stage 3super stock rods with ARP "wavelock" rod bolts, New World Products S/R Torquer Heads,Michigan 77 bearings, balanced and blueprinted from All Chevy Engines in Texas. Tires have 85% tread remaining. Brand new custom floor mats. Tranny fluid, motor oil, power steering fluidand antifreeze recently changed. Three ring binder with partial history ofvehicle is included with photographs of engine swap, and receipts that support and document all the information in this vehicle description. Vehicle was well maintained and serviced.Currently, this vehicle is stored in a garage under a car cover and is not exposed to rain. The following minor imperfections exist which can easily be repaired: Tip of front spoiler has minor fiberglass damage, front bumper cover has minor 1" crack in fiberglass, drivers side fender near side marker light has minor paint damage (3" spiderweb), paint underneath hood (inside engine compartment) is worn and faded, dashboard has a couple of minor cracks (barelynoticeable) and a few small stains (very minimal), interior carpet is faded and has a few stains, minor crack on drivers side seat cover (near seam so not visible), plastic trim piece around removable roof panels has an area where paint is worn off (concealed by sun visor), body of vehicle has a few paint scratches and imperfections which are not visible if standing away from vehicle, cooling fan shroud has missing piece at bottom but is functional, and passenger/driver door rubber molding is slightly deteriorated in a couple of areas.
