1966 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:
This 66 was restored many years ago. It has been owned by the last owner for over 25 years. It has been sitting in climate controlled building and driven occasionally. Last licensed in 2012.
After checking the fluids and a few other things, the numbers matching 427/ 390 HP turbo jet big block started right up. It runs fine and sounds great. To be safe with all this power, we replaced the brake lines, shoes, calipers and rotors to make sure it would stop. The clutch is good and the four speed manual shifts easy.
The laguna blue paint has some bubbles mainly on the front clip. A new paint job would be required if you are looking for show quality.
It has:
- Telescopic steering wheel
- Tinted glass (all in good shape)
- Power antenna
- Working clock
- Good tires.
This is a mostly complete driver. Spend some additional money and you can get a good return on your investment.
