This is a really nice '80 Camaro Z28. It was reported that this Camaro had been kept in a garage it's entire life. Low Mileage. Alpine audio system.
The VIN # was only 13 digits long in 1980. CARFAX only will run current 17 digit VIN #'s. Auto makers changed the VIN #'s from 13 to 17 digits sometime in 1981.
This cars paint (Gold in color with beige strips) & its tan & dark brown two-tone interior was professionally restored about 10 years ago. Carpet & headliner are in like new condition.
A Vintage Air Conditioning unit had been installed by Auto Air & Audio, Inc. in Winter Haven, FL about 2 years ago.
All the suspension and drive train had been restored about 5 years ago and is in excellent condition.
Shocks were replaced. The sway bar bushings were replaced with urethane bushings. Along with the body bushings & suspension bushings were installed and are in like new condition.
This nice Z28 has the rare working air induction system like early model cowl induction Chevelles which looks & sounds kool when you hit the pedal.
The engine is a sbc 350 bored 30 over with a street mild cam, early casting heads with roller tip rockers, edelbrock intake & carb and long tube headers with stainless steel exhaust with Pypes mufflers.
The transmission, a turbo 350 and the 10 bolt rear end have been rebuilt with the 10-bolt rear end having a upgraded posi unit.
It has a heavy duty aluminum radiator, new alternator, & new battery,
Fuel & brake lines were replaced, along with the calipers, rotors, & pads. It stops on a dime.
The car has the original factory installed undercoating. The floors & frame are really clean.
New windshield with the radio antenna built-in.
Also miscellaneous parts include louver back window cover; new back window interior shelf; new front seat belts; speaker covers in the trunk; many small items; & books come with the car.
