Guys this isn't your average repainted car, there has been many hours and lots of money spent to make this one of the nicest RESTO MOD Split Bumper Camaro around! The second gen Camar, especially the split bumper, is the most sought after one witch is driving the prices out of the roof. And this one is a RESTO MOD witch is even more desirable. So look close and feel free to ask any and all questions.
It started life as a real factory red RS/SS, the Z/28 emblems where added to break up the black paint scheme, so it is a real deal RS/SS 1971 split bumper Camaro with all the factory sheet metal.
The original body had hours of fitment, sanding and prep work performed, and it shows in the super straight panelsand perfectly gapped doors. fenders. nose snout, trunk lid and hood. The paint is clear, deep and virtually flawless. Hours where spend wet sanding and buffing to perfection. All the chrome trim around the windows, doors and hood were replaced, even theemblems. The interior retains the freshened up original look with the addition of VINTAGE AI, DAKODA RETRO GAUGES, AUDIO SOUND RADIO and Black Chevy Steering Wheel.
The drive train is a LS1 and 4L60 from a 1998 Corvette that has been gone thru and professionally tuned. It performs flawlessly, drove it on the HRPT and it got 23.8 to 25.3 mpg and constantly had to turn down the AC.Driving this car has me wanting to do my 70 Chevelle to this same scheme being, its my favorite car, and that's why I'm selling this car and the only reason.
