Here we have a beautiful frame-off restored 1948 Chevrolet 3100 series pick up that has been built into a real show piece. Super solid body with excellent seams and body alignment, very straight and true, covered in high gloss red paint and all new chrome. All glass and weather stripping is also new. The front suspension has been updated with a Camaro subframe with power steering and power disc brakes and the rear received custom leaf springs. The drive train consist of a chevy 350 V8 topped with an Edelbrock intake and carb, HEI distributor, headers, and a Billet Specialties front pulley system along with lots of other chrome goodies. The transmission is a 700R4 automatic overdrive with a 9" Ford Currie rear axle with a 3.50 gear ratio. The interior has been equipped with dual power leather bucket seats, tilt column, Dolphin gauges, Vintage air conditioning, electric wipers, and all new chrome hardware. The truck sits on a new set of steel wheels wrapped in new wide white radial tires. This is a superb driving truck that still has that classic vintage look to it but yet drives like a late model vehicle with all the comforts we have come accustom to.
