This is how a 1980 Chevrolet Camaro was always supposed to be. The bold looks are now backed up by a 450 hp monster motor and plenty of other performance goodies in this thoroughly upgraded Pro Touring coupe. And you do it all from a comfortable A/C interior. So if you're ready to own the streets, this is ready today. There was a full restoration that was completed earlier this year. With less than 900 miles on the... car (6,000 on the motor) it really retains terrific lines we love on these later 2nd gen Camaros. This fame-off restoration also created an excellent canvas for the modern Gunmetal Gray with plenty of metallic element. This goes great with the blackout package on the grille, headlight bezels, window trim, and rear panel. This has a true aggressive look with the custom chin splitter, upgraded super scoop hood, and full-width rear spoiler. Those 16-inch American Racing Torq Thrust alloys have a nice classic flair while making room for wide modern rubber. Inside, the black matches the exterior accent color for a nice uniform presentation. It's a competition-focused machine with a custom roll cage, low-back bucket seats, and Schroth four-point harnesses. You get a grippy Grant competition-style steering wheel, a Hurst shifter, and the gauges have been upgraded to a full AutoMeter Pro-Comp panel. But more than just a pure performance build, a pro touring car like this also is quite comfortable. That's why you have nice features like a Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo, power steering, and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. Under the hood is the kind of powerhouse you always wished was in a Camaro like this. It's a fully-built 355 cubic-inch V8. It has been enhanced and fortified with an Eagle forged rotating assembly, World Products steel heads (ported & polished), Edelbrock Victor JR intake, and topped with a Holley 750 CFM double-pumper four-barrel carburetor. The Hedman headers add to the power while also contributing to the thunder of the X-pipe dual exhaust. It's a full package that produces an estimated 450 horsepower. And all this power has the right supporting components, like a March serpentine system and aluminum radiator with large electric fan. You get full control over this powerful package with the close-ratio Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission. This feeds a stout Auburn limited-slip rear with 4.11 ratio for powerful takeoffs. Plus, the suspension includes Detroit Speed two-inch lowering springs, Cal-Trac traction bars, and frame connectors. This full upgraded handling package is completed with a Wilwood master cylinder on CPP four-wheel disc brakes and grippy BF Goodrich gForce Sport Comp2 tires. Complete with restoration photos, this Camaro is coming off of long-term ownership, and the restoration was a professional labor of love. It's the fresh and complete build that will be your new love... but only if you're the first to grab it. Call now!
