I purchased this last year from the nephew of the owner who was moved to an assisted living facility. I was given a bill of sale and could not figure out all of the hoops required to jump through to get a VIN tag or a title. I was told the gentleman was building it from the ground up from parts. So, I assume you could apply for a VIN and title like one would for a kit car.

There is no VIN tag, no trim tag, and no title. It will be sold with a bill of sale only.

VIN# ????

Convertible 194676S123952. This is what the previous owner told his nephew it was.

Coupe 194376S123952

I had a Carmel police officer run both VIN possibilities based on the frame number and it is not stolen. However, he would not give me a print out.

Frame# 6S123952

Engine# 15W192723

Transmission# 70S414013

1966 frame (based on frame number) with convertible birdcage. The rolling chassis has been redone and looks decent. The birdcage has a hole on the left side, but I believe is solid.

Non-match 350 engine that I believe has been been rebuilt. It has aluminum heads roller rockers, and I assume a roller cam. I replaced the fuel pump and rebuilt the carburetor and then it started.

The transmission is also non-numbers matching 4 speed manual.

The body is a reproduction body made by usbody.

It needs a lot of work to make fit properly, but I assume it's doable for someone with the skills. I trimmed it enough just to get it on the rolling chassis and get the door on it for shipping. It does not require a birdcage so it will take some more tweaking to adapt it to one.The doors are original factory doors and have the internals including the glass. The hood I believe is also from usbody.com and has not yet been trimmed.

A Vintage AC kit is present, and I believe all of the parts are here.

I'm confident for the right person with the right skills this could be a great hotrod. The mechanicals seem solid and there were a lot of new parts used on the rolling chassis. As far as I can tell most of the parts needed to put it together are here.

The only parts I have that aren't pictured are the front windshield, rear window glass, and AC condenser.

I'm a bonified car guy and I just don't have the time or know how to complete a project like this. I'm not looking to cheat anyone or mis-represent this project and would be thrilled to see it wind up in the right hand and on the road.
