1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Additional Info:
A beautiful 67 Chevelle Restomod Wagon. LS engine from a 2008 G8 that had less than 2000 miles on it, and a 6L80E six speed trans from the same car. 12 bolt GM rear with brand new Eaton posi unit and Denny's aluminum driveshaft. Foose chrome wheels, tubular adjustable A arms, Currie rear control arms, and Corvette Z06 brakes front and rear with a hydroboost brake unit.
The car was a full body-off rotisserie restoration, with the car taken down to bare metal and restored to better than new. Car was finished in Viper Red urethane.Chassis was fully blasted and refinished in black epoxy primer and a black urethane top coat. The car was dressed as if it were a SS, even though no 67 SS wagons were ever built. Has SS hood, all emblems and rocker trim. The 6 speed automatic uses a G8 shifter with tap-up tap-down shifting for when you want to manually shift the trans. The engine was pulled apart and the AFM was deleted along with adding a Livernois stage 2 cam and new LS7 lifters. The car dynoed at 417 rear wheel horsepower, and is an absolute beast, but has very good road manners. It is a great car for long road trips, as it only runs about 1700 RPM at highway speeds, and knocks down very good mileage as long as you keep your foot out of it.
Exhaust is Eldebrock long tube headers with 100% stainless exhaust from them back. Pypes stainless turbo mufflers that have a very pleasing exhaust note for most driving, but when you really stick your foot in it they get loud. I built the car to take on a Hot Rod Power Tour several years ago, but ended up not being able to go because of work. The car only has about 3000 miles on it since it was built and the engine and trans both have less than 5000 miles total on them since they came from GM. Car has the latest generation Vintage air system, NAV system and backup camera. Rick's stainless tank, with Walbro fuel pump and Corvette regulator/filter.
Please let m know if you need a picture of any particular area, as I have full pics of the car all the way from start to finish. Car does have a reserve, but it is very reasonable.
