1969 Chevrolet Camaro Don Yenko Coupe Additional Info:
Extremely rare opportunity to buy a 69 Camaro Don Yenko Tribute project car. We began the project by replacing all of the sheet metal except the top, including: fenders, quarters, one piece floor pan and trunk pan, hood, doors, cowl, front seat platforms, and dash. We reassembled the car on a 69 Camaro Jig and all lines and gaps are excellent. We then painted it LeMans Metalic Blue using Finish Master paint (three coats), primer and clear (four coats) and we buried the Don Yenko emblems and stripes in the paint. The engine compartment is painted satin black. We have all of the window and door glass (not installed). There is a nice set of seats covered in factory white. They can be cleaned up well enough to use as is or are fine to recover. They are very sound structurally. There is a dash cluster mount and a console which are nice enough to re finish and the following parts are brand new in boxes: bumpers, dash pad, console door, carpet kit, rear spoiler, front grill, and Z28 type in dash tach. The car was originally a Z28 and maintains the Z 12bolt differential and front disc brakes. For power is an "all in", fresh rebuilt 454 with; huge rectangular port heads (polished), roller rocker, gear drive, forged pop up pistons, 7/16 rods, SS crank, a fresh rebuilt Holley 850 double pumper carb, a fresh blasted and painted intake, electronic ignition, ceramic headers and new oil pan. It is complete with plugs and fresh oil and is ready to drop in and run. The transmission is the mighty (and rare these days) M22 which has also freshly been completely rebuilt and looks like new inside and out. There are 0 miles on the motor and tranny. When complete this will be one of the nicest and most completely rebuilt Yenko Tributes on the planet.
