The 1973 Corvette was a new turn for GM in an attempt to make the Corvette a true Grand Tourer. Featuring a noticeably quieter interior and better wheel and tire packages.
This stunning 1973 Corvette was purchase by the current owner in 2010. From the moment of purchase this Corvette went through a complete restoration and upgraded with the purpose of making this the epitome of what a corvette should be regardless of year.
Drivetrain: The old 350 engine was tossed and replaced with the flagship LSX 454 engine from GM Performance Parts tuned to make 510 RWHP paired with a Keisler custom built TKO-600 5 Speed 5009 Model all installed by Coast Corvette. Completed with Front End Accessory Drive with Power Steering and Air Conditioning. Custom Posi rear end with upgraded driveshaft, U joints, and half shafts, and axles. Upgraded Aluminum radiator with electric fans.
Exterior: Custom Ice White Pearl 3 Stage Paint and Complete Refinish of all body panels Including widened Rear Flares with Widened 15x10" Rear Wheels. New Lights and Lenses. New Chrome trim. New Hardware for deck lid and hood. New Convertible Top.
Interior: Replaced seat covers and foam. Deluxe door panels, door compartments, and door handles. Fresh Interior Paint. New Dash and Carpets. New Alpine Radio with Speakers, Automatic Antenna, and Hardware. All new carpets. Custom "454 C3" Sill Plates. New Interior Chrome Trim, All new Interior Panels, Restore Factory Center Console.
Brakes and Suspension: Larger Sway Bar. New Bilstein gas Shocks. Wilwood Power Disc Brakes with Drilled Rotors. Replaced Factory Suspension Components including tie rod ends, sway bar links, bushings, wheel bearings, etc.
Finished: All work was completed by Coast Corvettes and Newport Restorations. Receipts come to well over $100,000.
