NO ZERO FEEDBACK BIDDERS ! This is an original numbers matching born with motor car that has been sitting inside a garage for the last 34 years and off the road . No not a Barn find just simply parked back in the garage in 1985 and not driven since . It is a L79 factory 327/350H.P. engine with matching 4 speed . The car is also a factory 2 top convertible . It also has the rare factory power window, power steerin, Transistor Ignition syste, posi rear axl, traffic hazard lamp switc, AM-FM radi, tinted glass and windshiel, and best of all FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING ! hard enough to find a numbers matching original ca, add to that the L79 Hi performance L79 350 H.P, finished in red with Blac, add the power window, T.I. 2 Tops and 4 speed very few of theses engine combinations were ordered with air conditioning. the statistical probability of another one like this extremely low . The body is an original non hit all original panel car ( yes the dimple on the cowl is there ) and the bonding strips are easily in view on what appears to be mostly if not all original paint . The interior is original with the exception of the newer front carpets ( the original ones were removed as the smell was not welcoming ) and the rear is not currently carpeted . The car was brought out on a flat bed to my local repair shop and now is in great running condition after a new batter, alternato, plug, all fluid, etc . Brakes were also done at that time including all 4 caliper, master cylinde, flui, and a few lines as well . The upper ignition shielding was missing when I purchased i, the lower routed shielding is original and present . all glass is origina, I believe the top is as well . So the car is running and drivin, stops and steers . The tires are badly flat spotted ( Must be at least 34 years old at the newest ) . gauges are workin, speedomete, odomete, tachometer all working . Power windows are working. Driver's side headlamp does not open but turns on . Bumpers are original and drivers side has a small hole on it . Car is original and needs little to either drive as is (with new tires ) and a weekend of tinkering . Overall this is a great rare honest original with a beautiful frame and bird cag, no repair, no issues . Nothing is missing as to parts . Any parts removed were kept . Car was purchased from a 52 year ownershi, if you want to restore one of these this is the one . It will cost the same to restore this car as a either non matching number no option car .
