1979 Chevrolet C-10 Scottsdale Additional Info:
Nice 79 shortbed c10, always a southern truck since new. Truck has been in Michigan for three months. Originally a straight six truck. Truck has zero rust underneath and only a couple of minor spots up top. All original paint under hood from firewall to core support. Now has swapped vortec with stand alone harness, no hack job under hood, all work performed for a trouble free daily driver. Has in tank fuel pump, all working gauges, again, no cobble job butchered wiring. Complete new 2.5 inch exhaust system with 40 series Flowmasters. Rebuilt turbo 350 with a 12 bolt rear end. Has manual brakes which work perfectly. Interior is pearl white with new carpet, headliner, expensive seat upholstery, restored tilt column and sound deadened floor, and everything working from dome light to cigarette lighter. Lowered 3 inches in the front and 4 in the rear with no cutting or welding. This truck does have a few dings and bumps on it, but for an everyday driver for 40 years it shows very respectable. Suspension is tight and responsive, not a worn out old truck, It is very dependable and drivable anywhere you want to go. Paint has some original, some resprayed over the years, has clear coat on hood, tailgate, fenders, and top of bed. Has color matched spray in bed liner. No bodywork was done, l want whoever buys it to see what their getting. Truck is fun to drive, gets lots of compliments, plus you can use it and not worry about stone chips or rain. I tried to preserve the integrity of this truck as everything that was done could be reversed easily if wanted. Nice squarebodies that haven't been through tons of owners and not all cut and cobbled are tough to find. Last two pictures are the day l bought it and there are a couple pictures of it before it was lowered. Call 989 482 1664 for more info and photos.

In case anyone cares, this truck is not full of Chinese reproduction or cheap ebay or parts store parts. Also there are no leaks of any kind and runs super cool and has great oil pressure.

Spot on firewall is not rusting through or flaking rust, just where some of the original coating chipped off.
