Many hours went into this truck and was always indoors in my shopGlad to answer any questions about the truck
*NOTE: The tires are old and will need to be replaced by new owner.*NOTE: I forgot to get a new stabilizer shock. I will get a new one and install it before purchase.
The dual gas tanks were removed, cleaned, rust-treated and painted. All new fuel lines and filler/vent hoses. The tank straps were restored and one had to have a new bolt welded on.
The truck bed is bolted-on new 3/4" exterior plywood with undercoating on the underside. Can be changed or covered easily.
4" lift with 2" body lift = 6" lift.
The new windshield wiper water spray pump is not working (I installed a new one) and it might be something simple or could be a bad pump or the dash switch could be bad. The wipers work.
I just got done with this truck about 2 weeks ago. I am a body repairman. It took me about a year just for the body work//metal welded patch panels. It looks new and so does the inside motor compartment and the hood bottom and the cab. The paint is a single stage "Hammered" gun metal paint with automotive catalyst/reducer. The doors are 80's truck doors with their refreshed panels. The dash pad is an original crack-free. I installed a steel plate covering where the original speaker would have been with a steel bracket to mount a GPS monitor or?
*NOTE: The rear slider window was on the truck when I got it. One of the small lock clips is missing and the vertical felt seal.
Must pay in cash in person.
If you want a like-new rare short box step side chevy 4x4 truck rust free this is the one. The project took 4 years. I've built award winning street rods and am not a beginner at this. I'm not the best either but this is a very nice nostalgia truck and will probably increase in value.
