For sale 1962 Chevrolet Impala SS Golden Anniversary Edition 1 of 350 Ever Produced. This 62 was purchased by our father in 2011 and has been driven about 2k miles since he bought it. We are selling it because he passed in 2014. It will be described to the best of my son's knowledge who is very familiar with the car. It has a rebuilt 327 with a Cam in it/ Dual Exhaust and sounds great/ Chrome Ractive exhaust tips/ Electronic Ingition put in 2011/ Edellbrock carburetor/ Edellbrock chrome engine dress kit/ Good glass and all original except for front/ Power Steering / Power Brakes/ Turn signals and all lights including interior lights work/ AC needs charging and has a toggle switch to turn it on, came that way/ Bad Boy alarm with two remotes one has car diagram on it/ Original water overflow bottle but a small overflow aftermarket tank is used instead/ Mobile 1 oil/ original interior is about a 6 out of 10 no rips or sagging in headliner/ Good dash no cracks/ no rust underneath car/ 20 inch Coy Wheels 235 front 275 rear with 70% tread life... Now here are the things that need attention: Springs were cut in the back because when my Dad put new shocks on it after taking the old air shocks off the car sat up too high in the back and he was ill advised to have the springs cut to get the low look/ needs new carpet, or carpet in car could be cleaned and is original/ small tear in back of drivers seat/ ding on right front fender/ tiny surface rust spot size of 1/2 dime above rear fender/ right side of front bumper pushed in a little near the right fender/ car needs to be painted has multiple colors of gold on it/ has some small rust chips in trunk but I can't see where they came from/ Radiator works fine but needs a 4 row aluminum one/ small oil leak from pan not engine maybe a drop a month/ Steering wheel has paint missing on it put a cream wrap on it/ cigarette lighter is broken/ left antenna was cracked and glued it back/ side skirts scratched and needs to be painted. Ok that's about it HONESTLY. We feel our price is low and fair for a rare Impala SS Golden Anniversary Edition. Seeing one recently sold on Ebay for 17,100 and ours is in better condition. The car is kept in storage and has been since 2011. Has not been driven in rain or had water put on it since 2011. Car starts right up after a few pumps on the gas. This 62 Golden Anniversary Edition needs to go to a good chevy lovers home and we pray that it does. Thank you for looking.
