1968 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500 Custom Sport Truck Additional Info:

You are bidding on a 1968 Chevrolet C20 ¾ Ton LWB truck that is a dependable daily driver with a solid, straight body, and minimal rust. This is not a “project” truck. All windows open smoothly, doors shut tightly, and tailgate closes properly. Not to say there is no room for upgrades, it is just rock-solid as-is. Options include A/C, PS, PB, and Cab Marker Lights. This truck was built in Sacramento CA and spent its life in sunny California. The first 25 years/94k miles there was a camper in the bed and was used as a weekender for a family. An older gentleman bought it in 1993 and stated that he put $25k into restoration. The truck interior was restored, exterior and cab painted, interior redone, and a new oak bed installed. It was stored in a garage and used to tow a horse trailer. There are some paint chips and a scratch (touched-up) on the right side of the bed.

I purchased the truck with 128,000 miles and shipped it to Florida. Since the purchase, I have done several upgrades. The suspension has been freshened up, new mufflers, and an engine.

The stock 327 has been replaced with a 383 / 450hp stroker motor with 1,500 miles since rebuild. All parts were purchased new at Summit racing and assembled by RPM Speed and Customs in Alma, GA. The engine is set-up to handle 600+HP with an Eagle forged rotating assembly, but was designed to run pump fuel with an output of 450HP. The torque output has to be felt. Runs smooth and quite on the highway at 70+. No shake, rattle, or roll and has 3-point shoulder seat belts for safety. This truck flat-out runs and is super fun to drive. I find myself looking for excuses to run errands or take trips. It drives straight and true, stops on a dime, and will smoke the tires at 70 (found out by accident while passing).

There are 2 spots of rust that showed-up since painted 25 years ago. The drivers door bottom corner has small bubbling. The passengers front fender at front bottom corner. (see pics)

The tailgate is dented slightly at top. Does not affect function.
