1963 Corvette Roadster – Small Block 350 – 4 Speed.
Very Little to Finish – Ultimate Opportunity!
This car has been the subject of a long-term restoration by its previous owner, a Corvette guy through and through. The exterior of the car is very clean, after it was painted a few years back it never received its color sand and buff as the project was halted due to ill health. The body is very straight for a 63, paint will buff to a great shine. The doors will want aligning and hanging correctly, as these were fitted fairly swiftly to make the car ready to transport to our shop.
The engine has been gone through by the previous owner and we were told this was a “Roller” motor with a good-sized cam in it, it sounds very healthy indeed, please watch the engine running video. Everything looks new for the most part, even down to the plug wires. We had it running for a limited period to see if the motor was sound (from an external Gas source) we were happy! Please take a look at the images to see for yourself, much time and monies have been spent here. The specs of the motor are unfortunately unknown, but you can see with the detail on the rest of this car, there would have been no scrimping on time or funds in this department. What you can see is a good-looking newer Holley Carb (Double Pump), Ceramic Coated Headers, Edelbrock Intake, Flex fan, all new water hoses and pump. This motor will require setting up to finish, as well as some checking over – minor finishing jobs only, if you have a basic mechanical ability you could tackle this.
The Interior is great, some minor finishing to do here trim wise, the dash wants a damn good clean to bring it up to snuff. Seat covers look like new (must have been replaced in the past) and the carpet also. The horn push is missing from the steering wheel as is the upper seat mounting brackets. Please study the images well, you can see for yourself this car really just wants time and minimal monetary input to finish. R/S outside pillar windshield trim is missing and also the exhaust bezels. The wheels and tires are in great shape, Cragar’s with what look like newer BF Goodrich tires (albeit a few years old).
The underside of the car is spectacular, the previous owner spent much time and monies on blasting and powder coating as the results look stunning. Please look at the pictures, they really do speak a thousand words. All suspension rubbers, engine mounts, nuts and bolts…. everything has been addressed here – ALL THE HARD WORK DONE!!!
There is a soft top in the rear which we laid in place, the top is old and will need replacing, work on the basis that this is a frame that you will fit a new top to.
Mid-year Corvettes are a hot commodity yet again and this car will yield you a pretty penny once some time and monies have been spent finishing this 95% complete project. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask, this car is available to view mid-week 9-5 and also Saturdays between 9 & 3pm here in Texas, just north of Dallas.
We can arrange global shipping of this unit, please reach out for a quotation, we can deliver to a port of your choice. If you are located in the United States, we can help transport this to you.
That’s it, all in all a very together 63 Vette with minor DIY jobs left to perform! Car is supplied with a clean Texas Title. Mileage stated as exempt; odometer reading is 81,389… Your guess is as good as mine on this? Who knows…?
In short, this car has been sat for approx. 6 years since it was worked on last time around. You will need to look and check everything over, this is not a new car, its not an 09 Lexus – its 56 years old and is a classic car – so please be sensible with what to expect.
At our dealership we work very hard to accurately describe our vehicles through text descriptions and elaborate photos. When you purchase a pre-owned vehicle it is not a new vehicle. Any used vehicle can have normal wear and blemishes. Before placing a bid please read the descriptions thoroughly and view all pictures.
