$325,000 build and only 836 miles since finished! Wow, where to start? There is a 100 page color magazine by Super Chevy entirely about the build of this car. Only the best of the best parts and workmanship went into building this "Ultimate 57". The result is a turnkey, reliable, comfortable car with drag car power, sportscar handling, luxury car features and knock your socks off show car appearance. Named "Project American Heros", the build of this car was... to raise money and awareness for the Armed Forces Foundation. They help our Veterans in need. The world reknown Roadster Shop built the car with major contributions from top names in hot rodding parts manufacturers. The only piece of this car that was not brand new was the firewall with the vin number! Really, every single part is new. Not just any aftermarket part either. Major manufacturers donated their best components for this worthy cause. The car made its debut at the Sema show. Super Chevy magazine followed the progress of the car in their magazine then compiled the stories into it's own special edition. It didn't just make the cover, it got it's own magazine! There is a lot to read but this car has a lot to offer. EXTERIOR: Except the firewall all the metal is new. Cars Inc provided high quality reproduction metal. This car was fully assembled and fitted then taken apart for paint. Then an incredible House of Kolors Majik Blue Pearl paint was applied. American flag was airbrushed in place of the stainless inserts on each 1/4 panel. Minimal 210 trim was used, no door handles or emblems. Doors and trunk open by remote. A rich black cloth top was installed. The entire top frame assembly and hydraulic system are new. Headlights have colored halos. Great looking set of staggered size Intro wheels with performance tires, 18s in front, 20s in back. Of course all new glass, chrome, stainless trim, rubber etc. INTERIOR: Ahhh, smells like a leather store. The interior has recently been completely updated. Very deluxe custom leather seating and upholstery. Bucket seats front and back with full length custom made console. Dash is beautiful-paintrd body color, has blue Dakota Digital gauges, plenty of billet trim, custom steering wheel on tilt column. Everything is new- American Autowire, Dynamat, retro stereo with 4 speakers and sub woofer. Has Hurst Pistol grip shifter. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Of course it is stunning to see, it has glass finish paint and many polished parts. Features include Classic Auto Air system, hydroboost power steering and brake system. The star of the show is the Smeding Performance 572 big block with an unbelievable 717 horsepower and 709 lbs of torque! They go the extra and only the best parts are used for maximum reliability. They start with a Dart block and assemble using forged steel crank, Ross pistons and they internally balance each part. A set of RHS Pro Action aluminum heads were slightly reworked and installed. With 9.9:1 compression running pump gas does the trick. Oh, you will be visiting the gas pump. Sucking in the air is a big 950 cm Holley carb, letting it out is a set of Sanderson headers. MSD provided the ignition system and high torque starter. The front of the motor is fully dressed with polished components, March billet serpentine pulleys and brackets. It's all kept cool with aluminum radiator, polished hard hoses, and dual electric fans. All the soft hoses are braided stainless. Has matched set of ustom air cleaner and valve covers painted body color. Has a really slick set of hood hinges. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Fully boxed and upholstered to match the interior. Even the hinges are upholstered. Has a built in storage compartment and CD changer. There are dual batteries behind the panel with built in charger and there's a shut off switch. UNDERSIDE: Of course you could eat off the bottom, it is restored to the same quality as the top. It features a super strong, smooth, clean looking Stage lll Roadster Shop chassis. The one piece 4x4 frame rails with dual level tubular cross member easily handle the big horsepower. It has been painted body color. It has a Heidts Super Ride ll suspension with tubular stainless control arms, urethane bushings and sway bars. It is independent in front and 4 bar triangulated in back. The steering is a Flaming River rack & pinion. The adjustable ride is provided by Air Ride Technologies. It is their Shock Wave system, air bag at all 4 corners. A lowered stance is also in part to 2 inch drop spindles and the frame is dropped 3 inches in the center. The trans is an electronic shift TCI Streetfighter 4L80E with overdrive, built and tested to handle big horsepower. All the related parts are the best- flywheel, torque converter etc. Moser provided their M9 fabricated rear end with 3.73 Auburn posi gears. There are SSBC disc brakes at each wheel with Turbo Slotted rotors and 3 piston calipers. Rock Valley Auto Parts supplied a polished stainless fuel tank. The exhaust is a fat 3 inch stainless steel Bassani system that is nicely tucked into the chassis. It would easily cost $350,000 to duplicate this car. It may be hard to comprehend but every square centimeter of this car was built to high end standards. Comparable cars have recently been selling at auction for 1/4 million $. This world class car is a bargain at $167,998. I suggest you buy it and you use it. Way too much good stuff went in this car to let it sit! I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. Don't be
