1937 Chevrolet Other Pickups Additional Info:
Completely restored 1937 Chevy 1/2 Ton Truck with clear coated body.Clear title in my name. This truck gets ALOT of attention where ever it goes! Leave it as is, or paint it your favorite color. All work was done by a restoration shop, taken all the way down to the bare frame, sand blasted, painted, and reassembled including new wiring with the 12v conversion. Restoration completed in Dec of 2018.
Body: Very solid truck out of Colorado, only minor surface rust which was removed. Great patina all around with the original pin striping still visible. Under the hood and on the firewall the original blue paint is still intact and bright. Body was completely removed, satin clear coated, and assembled with fender welting. Bed has original all the original metal and wood in good shape. Sale does not include license plates.
Interior: Interior is all original and in great shape minus the original seat covering. Seat was stripped down to the springs, sand blasted, painted, new foam, and professionally covered in a Mexican blanket pattern fabric. Brand new glass all around.
Drive train: Original 216 swapped for a 235 out of a 59 Chevy. The motor has been completely rebuilt with a mild cam, fenton dual intake, fenton headers, dual rebuiltrochester carburetors. Motor was completely stripped down and painted correct grey for 37. Brand new powergen 12v alternator/generator look alike. Champion aluminum radiator with electric cooling fan hidden behind the grille. Transmission is a rebuilt 5 speed out of an S-10. Rear end was rebuilt from a 1955 Chevy truck for the driveshaft conversion. Exhaust is a true dual with Porter mufflers. Sounds great! Comes with original radiator and trans.
Frame and Suspension: Truck was taken down to the bare frame, sand blasted, primed, and painted. All steering, suspension, and brakes have been taken apart, cleaned, and rebuilt.
I have more pictures of the truck before, during, and after the restoration. Please let me know if you have any questions.
