1957 Chevrolet 210 2 door post car
This is a one-off total custom - Complete rotisserie restoration. The modifications are subtle; vented front fenders, shaved door handles, floor channeled up three inches (everything underneath tucks under cleanly) front and rear bumpers... Everything in this car has been touched in one way or the other. Both the front and rear bumpers have been customized to fit specifically to the car and chromed. The exhaust is routed through and comes out of the rear bumper. You can see it in some of the pictures. 100% of the chrome has been done.
All the work on the car has been done professionally -Everything except the paint and the building of the motor was performed by East Coast Chevy/Ol '55 - a very well-known 55-57 Chevy expert facility in PA. There is way too much to list on what went into the build so below is just a small list of vehicle highlights.
The engine compartment has been created to be void of any details other than the motor. The master cylinder was designed to be placed under the dash. The radiator was designed to be hidden under a specially built removable plate. Custom side panels have been built as well.
Chevrolet 427, with a 8-71 Weinand blower with two carter four barrel carbs. The heads are brand new Large-port aluminum Edelbrock heads. It has an oversized radiator and duel electric fans. The motor was assembled by Frank Bash engines of Langhorne PA. The motor has 80 miles on it.
The transmission is a Richmond six speed. The rear is a Currie 9 inch with 3.50 gears with Wilwood disc brakes. The drive shaft has been balanced. The exhaust was all custom-built stainless steel with Edelbrock mufflers and is finished by 'Jet-Coat' with electric gate valves to open the exhaust and routed through the rear bumper.
All the glass is new and tinted. And the windows are electric. The entire interior has been replaced and was done by Ciadella Interiors. Custom dash trim and gages, tilt steering column. Vintage Air AC
The paint is House of Color Three stage; and was done by Pro Class auto body in Philadelphia PA. The bottom of the car is as shinny as the top. Both bumpers have been customized and show chromed in Tennessee - the front had the bullets removed and the rear had the exhaust routed through it and it was narrowed to fit the body better
The frame is original and has been significantly enhanced and powdered-coated. In front; 2 inch drop spindles, w/power rack and pinon steering and the rear is a Currie 9 inch and has been narrowed and tubbed.
If you are serious about the car, I would be happy to answer any and all questions as best I can. OVER $200,000 INVESTED. There are way too many pictures to post so I am including a link for you to view the restoration/build.
