A last hurrah for the second generation Bel Air, the 1957 model brought forth a completely new design that lasted one year only. A classic sooner than many of its contemporaries, the '57 Chevy is an American icon that has been sought after almost since day one. This particular Bel Air has received a myriad of high-quality upgrades to ensure the most smooth and comfortable driving experience. The first thing that catches anyone's eye is the beautiful medium red metallic... paint job coupled with the incredibly clean and straight body lines. This puppy is laser straight and will absolutely turn heads in any crowd! The paint is well-done, beautiful, and the perfect color to subtly accent the body lines of this vehicle. All of the exterior trim is new, shiny, and fits properly. New lenses have been installed along with H4 upgraded headlights for a classic look with modern visibility. Sitting on Foose wheels and Martz 4-link suspension, this car looks and handles almost like a modern vehicle. All of this along with new weatherstripping, trim clips, and moldings, this Bel Air is a showstopper and a half! The theme continues in the engine bay where if you lift the slick red hood you'll find a complete detailed engine bay stuffed with a 383 stroker V8. The engine is bay is clean and crisp and if you look closely you'll see a March pulley system, vintage A/C, power rack and pinion steering, coil over shocks, 4-wheel disc brakes and more. The engine fires up and runs strong as you would expect from a build like this. The interior is a beautiful modern-style tribute to the original classic styling. A fully custom interior done by Southern Comfort, this is a high-quality job that is both comfortable and stylish. Complete with cupholders, a Custom Autosound retro modern radio, and a Classic Instruments full gauge cluster with Skydrive GPS speed sensor, this classy interior was installed to the tune of over $5,000. The icing on the cake is the seamless installation of both power front windows and a Vintage Air A/C system. This is an incredible build that has had no expense spared. The quality speaks for itself when you get behind the wheel, and it would be challenging to build a '57 Chevy of this caliber for the same price. The stack of receipts for this car is over an inch thick! Thousands of dollars have been spent in labor alone, let alone the monumental cost of quality reproduction and upgrade parts. For the discerning buyer in the market for a one-of-a-kind show car that can be driven with ease, this Bel Air would be a fantastic option.
