1964 Chevrolet Chevelle 300--Deluxe Additional Info:

Not Original Motor or Transmission. Was originally a 6 cylinder with 2 speed air-cooled cast iron powerglide transmission column shift car. I’m the 3rd owner, the 2nd owner was only a broker/reseller.

Original Turquoise exterior and Turquoise interior retained. Exterior has been repainted, very glossy and durable. Has all original stainless trim inside and outside, and bumpers. Look at pictures for the quality for the trim.

Currently has a professionally built BBC 496 full forged engine with over 600 HP and 600+ torque. Has Chevy BB oval port heads #336781 with Manly Severe Duty SS valves fitted. 2.19” intake and 1.88” exhaust size for superior torque. Has an Edlebrock #7561 air-gap intake. Lunati roller cam, Comp Cam roller lifters, MSD billet distributor, MSD 6AL ignition, MSD Blaster coil, MSD 8mm plug wires. Holley high performance fuel pump, Summit adjustable fuel pressure regulator with braided SS fuel lines, relocated oil filter with SS braided lines (easier to change filter due to headers), Hooker ceramic coated headers and custom 3.0” exhaust. Currently has a Holley 3310-4 vacuum secondary carb but have a Chuck Nuytten prepared Holley 750 double pumper carb available. Distributor has been recurved for more rapid advance.

Has front bench seat. Only new parts in interior are front seat cover, carpet, and driver’s side rear panel. All other trim, upholstery is original and in excellent condition for age.

Currently has a 3 speed TH400 transmission with new cooling lines and new 2200 stall converter. New Be Cool radiator and electric dual fans. Weiand aluminum water pump.

Front end completely rebuilt. Has black polyurethane bushings in upper and lower control arms. New 1.25” sway bar. Has KYB gas adjust shocks in the front and air shocks in the rear. New front lowering springs matched to big block weight.

Corvette C5 disc brakes on front with new calipers, pads, rotors, and SS brake lines to calipers. Also has Power Steering (original SS type) with a chrome dual stage brake power booster. Quick ratio steering box.

Chrome Corvette C5 ZO6 reproduction wheels 17” by 8.5” with 235/45ZR17 Sumitomo tires.

Has the original Chevelle 10 bolt rear end with factory installed Posi-Traction. Haven’t verified ratio but seems to be low 3.??.

Has very minor rust in a few spots. First owner had dealership install undercoating so underside is in excellent condition for the most part. Battery has been replaced, currently has a Autozone Duralast.

Have 2 rally wheels and period appearing tires (tires should be replaced if driven any distance) Wheels are date coded for a 1968 Chevelle.

Have complete Muncie 4 speed with shifter, clutch, and bell housing at additional cost if 4 speeds are your thing
