Imagine if Chevrolet decided to build 1970 Chevelles brand new again. That would be sweet, but unnecessary. Because this car is what the result would be. Styling that you just can't improve on, with modern tech under the hood and in the dash. So just come on down and check out this extremely well done restomod, and get yourself this brand new 1970 Chevelle SS that Chevy would build, but doesn't need to. Cherry is a word... that's often used to describe the condition of something. And it definitely applies to this car in that way, but if you have seen the pictures already, you know that it describes the paint too. It is bright and shiny and super slick. It didn't get that way by accident either. Lots of prep went into making sure those panels were flawless and adjusted properly before a drop of that Red paint was sprayed on. Then they sprayed on the White SS stripes that run up the cowl induction hood and over the trunk, and the results are even better than new. A factory can't match the care that went into this individual car. The chrome dressing out the black grill with SS in the center as well as the headlight bezels and bumpers all shine bright. SS appears on the front fenders and again on the back bumper and oval exhaust tips peek out from underneath. This car's stunning looks good looks continue on the Red interior too. Open the door and you will find its panel dressed out with thin chrome piping above and below a pleated center section with an SS badge top center and power window switches toward the front. The seats are upholstered in textured vinyl with smooth side bolsters and chrome edging the support structure. The three spoke, deep dish steering wheel is mounted on a tilt column and has a bowtie horn button. Behind it we will find some of that upgraded tech. Dakota digital gauges have replaced the original units to keep more accurate tabs on speed, engine RPM, water temp and oil pressure. They are easier to read and look sharp too! Modern A/C is provided courtesy of Vintage Air and a horseshoe shifter for the automatic transmission rises from the center console that also has some storage under the lid as well as in some handy side pockets. Now, pull the pins and lift that cowl induction hood up for the star of the tech show. There you will find a 5.3-liter LS motor swap nestled down in a neat and clean engine bay. A Spectre cold air intake funnels plenty of fresh air to the throttle and that polished up intake while the alternator and A/C compressor are set up on billet mounts and driven by a serpentine belt. Hooker headers get the spent gasses out to Flowmaster mufflers and an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans keeps things running cool. The power runs back through a 4-speed automatic transmission to a 12-bolt rear end. The chassis on this car is also set up well with coil springs, sway bars, and disc brakes both front and rear and some serious rubber mounted on 17" Magnum style wheels. It should also be mentioned that the underside of this car is as clean and detailed out as the top side. Take a peek! A shining example of what Restomod is all about. Come on down and see for yourself. We know you will be impressed with this car.
