Turn up the heat with this big block brute, and look good while doing it in a white suit. All those black and red cars are nice, but this White and Black car wearing some chrome jewelry will attract attention like a guy walking into the room wearing a white suit. Check it out. Smooth muscular curves define the look of a '70 Chevelle. Black SS stripes run up the power bulge of the cowl induction hood... with lettering on the side just to be sure everyone knows what it is. Hood pins try to contain the beast within and an SS badge on the grill adds to the intimidation factor. Chrome piping surrounds that black grill as well as the quad headlights and a simple, yet substantial bumper underlines everything. SS 454 appears on the fenders. At the back end of the car, SS appears in white on the blacked-out center of the rear bumper and oval exhaust tips peek out from underneath it. The Black vinyl roof is the perfect complement to the white and chrome of the rest of the car and gives it a classy look that is a little bit different than your average muscle car. Open the door and you will find a Black interior with splashes of chrome that is the perfect complement to the outside paint. The door panel itself has three sections divided by chrome piping. The upper is smooth with an SS emblem toward the front of it. Chrome piping separates it from a pleated center section and another slash of chrome separates it from the bottom. A black steering wheel is mounted on a 3-spoke, polished hub with a Chevy horn button in the center. The stock gauges sit directly in front of the driver with the speedo in the center while a trio of auxiliary gauges are mounted under the dash to keep accurate tabs on oil pressure, water temp and voltage. A horseshoe shifter for the automatic transmission rises from the center console with a little storage just behind it which sits between the nicely recovered bucket seats. Pull the pins to pop the hood and you will find a 454 cubic inch powerhouse nestled down in a neat and clean engine bay. It is topped by a chrome air filter assembly with crossed racing flags as well as a 454 and Turbo-Jet 375HP decals. That filtered air is fed through a Summit 4-barrel carburetor and then on to a Weiand intake manifold. Long tube headers get the spent gases out and headed downstream to dual Flowmaster mufflers and it all adds up to give this car a healthy rumble. A fresh master cylinder and brake booster put the binders on front disc brakes which should make you feel better, especially when you are trying to slow this ride down after letting the horses run. Power flows back through a 3-speed automatic transmission to the rear axle mounted on coil springs and located by trailing arms. The rubber meets the road through Firestone Wide Oval F70-14s mounted on Rally wheels. Come on down and check out this muscle car with class. Big block power, white suit style.
