EXTERIOR: Stunning red paint. Recently this car was asked to be in the Maguire's booth at a show. That should tell you how slick it looks. Door jambs have slick paint, new sill plates. The body is extremely clean I just walked around the car and I couldn't find any cracking or signs of repairs. The body is actually as straight as a metal car. All the panel gaps are uniform. All of the chrome and trim is straight and... bright. The 17 inch aluminum wheels and performance tires not only look great, but improve the handling greatly. The convertible top was redone in a rich German cloth. INTERIOR: The interior is restored to look stock but it does have some very worthy upgrades. A big one is the seat was lowered and the steering wheel made smaller for much easier in and out. The car's owner is 6 ft 4! Other upgrades include a retro stereo in the factory hole, a center armrest with cup holder. It also has seatbelts and leather wrapped wheel. The dash pad has been replaced, the factory gauges appear to be restored. Mileage is 8,400 miles, which is since the car was rebuilt. The carpets have been replaced with the proper red and black speckled, visors, shift plate, door panels and trim have been replaced. Upholstery is excellent. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very neatly upgraded engine compartment. Everything looks tidy, proper and professionally installed. It has strong running 350 motor with aluminum heads, water pump and intake. Also has 650 Holley carb, HEI ignition, headers and serpentine belt. A BeCool aluminum radiator with electric fan and shroud keeps it running cool. A power brake system was retrofitted as well as an entirely custom power steering system. The bottom side of the hood is gloss red, the latches and hinges are cleaned up. Wiring, hoses and steering linkage is neatly installed. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The entire compartment is fresh looking. It all has a gloss red finish, bottom of trunk lid is slick. It has red cardboard panels and mat. A car cover is also included. UNDERSIDE: Pristine, raw fiberglass floors. Never painted over, nothing to hide. Clean frame, painted black. The front end was rebuilt. Upgraded rack & pinion steering. Trans was upgraded to a turbo 350 3-speed automatic. In back it has a Ford 9 inch with a posi. Shocks were replaced. Custom bent 2 1/2 exhaust system. All new upgraded brake system. It has Wilwood drilled and slotted rotors at all 4 wheels. New brake lines, hoses and working e-brake. The owner is a true car guy and believes in driving his collection. This car was restored and upgraded in 2014 and has been driven 8,400 miles since. It's a gorgeous classic that meant to be enjoyed! I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking.
