1973 Chevy Vega Hatchback. This is a true 9 second car. On Motor! This is not a toy!!!! And it does it on a small tire 26.0/8.5-15. This Is a foot brake car no electronics. Ready to go. Turn key. I picked this car up 5 yrs ago in pretty poor shape, t had been used as a street race car and it had a crappy motor with a whole bunch of NOS... I still Have NOS plate on the motor to this day but have never completed the missing plumbing or used it. Its a 383 stroker with all the right parts. 220 Air Flow Research Heads. Quickfuel 850 Carb. Motor has just been freshened up and upgraded. I made three passes on the new motor, ne qualifying run and two passes in a race and then the race was called. You can see the time slip in the last photo. Th350 trans with a custom built stall converter by ATI. Chevy 12 bolt rear. I will give more descriptive info to a potential buyer. This has been my project for the last five years. I have spent many hours tweeking on this car and making it hook every time....I have had this car apart and down to the metal and painted 3 years ago, ith a custom stripe you can see in the picture.
