1992 Chevrolet G20 Van Conversion Additional Info:
1992 Chevrolet G20 Sportvan. 5.0L (305ci) v-8, fuel injected, 700r4 automatic overdrive transmission. Dual exhaust with new mufflers. 15x8" American racing wheels, 235/75r15 radial tires.
This is a fun van to drive around. I just used it to pull my small trailer to the local swap meet. Please note that it has a previously salvaged Nebraska title, but repairs to van were done over 22 years ago and the truck had less than 95,000 miles. Previous owner and I have put over 140,000 miles since then, so don't let that bother you. Starts, runs, and drives well.
This is one of those trucks that you have to look over the photos to appreciate. Not perfect, but well preserved conversion van. I took photos of the minimal rust on the left rear wheel area and above the fuel tank door. Underside has some discoloration but is very solid in the floor, frame, and outer rocker area. Many of the interior lights still work, but some of the "mood" lights in the overhead woodwork are out. I'd say 75% still work. Carpet is faded in places, wood on doors is worn. Previous owner was a smoker, so that is still something you can smell, even though I have placed some air fresheners in it while I have owned it.
Engine runs good, trans is in good shape and shifts nice. Truck has a little wander in the front, but nothing serious. Slight power steering leak, but I have only put fluid in it once. Dependable battery. A/C is currently not working, but it did. I will see about fixing that before purchase, but you are buying it as if it is not.
Pinstripes have some fading and peeling, paint has been buffed and waxed, but could use some more TLC to really look nice.
