Up for auction is a nice 1986 Chevrolet Silverado C10 truck. It is short wheel base fleet side bed. Has a 406 small block with double hump heads and a small cam. Also has a high rise intake with a new holley carburetor. Engine sounds great with no smoke orrattlesand holds about 50 psi oil pressure cold and about 30 psi idling when hot. Has headers and new exhaust with flowmastermufflers.Transmission is a 350 turbo with a firm shift kit and about a 2500 rpm stall torque.Has a good cruising geared rear end, believe around 3:42 gear. Temperature never gets over about 170/175.The truck has a metal rollpan and asteel cowl hood.It is a great driving truck. The steering is very tight and the brakes work great. This truck was redone about 5-6 years ago. The exterior paint is about a 7 out of 10 with some small rock chips and scratches. The interior is about a 6 out of 10. The door panels show the most wear. Has aftermarket oil and temperature gauges. The gas gauge and voltmeter works in the dash, ut the speedometer does not. All the lights and turn signals work good and has a great heater. It is a factory air truck, ut the compressor and top line have been removed. Has power windows that work, hey are a little slow but work. It has tinted windows, ll the glass looks good. The wheels are newridler 18x8 front and 20x8.5 rear with good tires. The truck has been lowered about 3/4. Rides good. This is not a show truck but a great driver. Gets compliments everywhere I go. Have driven it to several car shows. Took pics of the most noticeable chips and defects in the paint. I tried to describe it as best I could. If you would like any more pics, ust let me know.
