Ground Up Built Camaro Restomod 525hp LS3 V8 5-speed A/C Split Bumper /// During its thorough restoration, this fully sorted panther was massaged into a tough profile that's straight and exceptionally solid. Once that prep was complete, a rich combination of Burgundy and Charcoal 2-stage was traced in silver divider stripes. Blackout stainless and blackout door handles provide a nice complement to dark-tint glass. A fresh rear bumper centers a small camera below a polished trunk lock, while polished rockers... reflect classy "LS3" fender badging. Up front, a sculpted Cowl Induction Hood shades clear parking lamps and a monochromatic "SS" grille emblem. And choice Rally Sport aesthetics include split bumpers, dual spoilers and chrome-trimmed taillights. Pop this coupe's steel hood and you'll find 6.2 liters of divine GM small block. Behind that mill, a tough Tremec 5-speed makes excellent use of an aftermarket third-member. That axle pushes a heavily upgraded suspension, which cages upgraded springs and fresh Hotchkis shocks in tubular control arms, Hotchkis tie rod sleeves and thick Hotchkis sway bars. Turns come courtesy of power rack-and-pinion steering. Stopping is a cinch thanks to four power-assisted calipers, which squeeze a combination of vented, drilled and slotted rotors. Hedman Husler Hedders push spent gases in to aluminized pipes, which are threaded through Borla S-Type mufflers. Torque melts the pavement thanks to Argent Ridler blades, which spin Nitto NT555s. Between the doors, tall racing buckets are laced with 5-point RJS harnesses. A monochromatic dash hangs modern telemetry over Vintage Air climate control and modern, direct-fit audio. And the driver traces the road through a tilting Grant steering wheel and a polished SST shifter.
