Hi FolksBarn find--One family owned--sold new in North Carolina--Original Bill of Sale--all original keys, one of the original tires still on spare--just over 76,600 original miles!!!Car is all original 265CI V-8 with PowerPack ( factory four barrel carb and dual exhaust) was upgraded at time of sale to BelAir wheel covers--Fantastic SURVIVOR CAR!!Has had one repaint way back in the day--never wrecked or beat up--the only rust is just normal surface rust on underside that you would expect and there are two places about the size of a license plate that are rusty in the bottom of drivers side rear floor--that is it! This car is SOLID no other rot or damage--Seats have been reupholstered long time ago--the paint is cracking in places--bumpers have slight surface rust, all other trim is great! Glass is all very nice--car has been stored in closed garage for last 20 plus years--starts right up runs good no smoke--engine is all original never touched as far as we know--three speed on the column, clutch good --gas tank has been cleaned--should be hauled as rear brakes are a little sticky just needs wheel cylinder kits from sitting--Has four matching radial tires that were put on new few years back

I am 100% on here because we are great ebayers--PLEASE read the description and think that it is just a guide based on me walking around this car, looking at it as careful as I can BUT--ASK QUESTIONS--it is an OLD car it has flaws and is not a Barret Jackson beauty queen--but it IS one of the most original--solid real unmolested 1956 Chevys in the world--they are impossible to find in this condition any more--Look careful--ask questions--Car sold as is--No you can't drive it home it needs brake work ( minor) It is a truly solid beautiful old car that will make someone a wonderful ride and it WILL go up in value faster than almost anything else--55,56,57 Chevys are skyrocketing in value--most of the ones you see are rot boxes built from three different cars--buy this one and you KNOW what you are getting
