This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Coupe, finished in attention-grabbing Hugger Orange with a correct Black Vinyl roof and an excellent condition Black Houndstooth Interior. a date code correct 396c.i. V8 engine and backed by an enthusiast's 5-speed Tremec TKO manual transmission. This example is believed to have had 3 owners since new and has only accumulated 10,492 miles since its full restoration. This is a complete frame-off restoration Camaro featuring; Edelbrock aluminum heads, Street Demon 4bbl carburetor, custom... polished/finned aluminum valve covers and air cleaner, along with so much more. As mentioned before, this is a full frame-off restoration that includes; engine rebuild, new transmission, 396c.i. engine block, new pistons, Magnaflow mufflers, chrome tailpipes, Edelbrock aluminum heads, air gap intake, Weiand water pump, Street Demon 4bbl carburetor, roller rockers, solid lifters, custom polished/finned aluminum valve covers and air cleaner, 5-speed Tremec TKO manual transmission, Hurst flat bar shifter, 12-bolt POSI rear end, 3.55 gears, 2" lowered multi-stack springs, Heitz upper and lower control arms, dual adjustable QA1 coil overs, power 4-wheel slotted/drilled disc brakes, undercarriage is semi-flat black powder coat on sub-frame/control arms/inner fenders, and 17" T/A's on 5-spoke ET Wheels. Custom upgrades consist of clear driving lights/turn signal combo, electric headlight doors, custom microswitches installed under the dash, body colored Enduro bumper, AM/FM/USB stereo made to look like 60 blue light stock unit, hidden iPod adapter, and trunk mat finished in Houndstooth with spare tire and jack. The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is one of those timeless designs that looks good no matter how the car is built. Stock, modified, race, pro-touring, whatever; the clean lines and balanced stance on these tough-looking muscle cars create a modern look with classic swagger. This example exceeds the expectations set out by Chevy when creating the ultimate muscle car. 1969 sported significant changes for the Camaro. Body panels, such as the fender, nose, and quarter panels were all updated to give the Camaro a more muscular look. The grille came in a "V" shaped that allowed for deeper set headlights and the taillights in the back were updated to be more prominent as well. Gauges went from round to square and everything about this car was much more muscular than it had been in years past. Engine offerings were the same as years prior.
