1970 Chevrolet Nova Additional Info:
I bought this car as someone else's unfinished restoration project. I continued the work on it for a while and am now moving onto another project. The car itself is very complete and comes with all the used/original parts that I have glass, window regulators, door handles, taillights, wiring, grille and headlight trim, etc. I do not have a rear bumper or the brackets for it. The front bumper is bent but the brackets are good. There is no back seat. Obviously this is a project car. It does come with several new parts. Weather stripping kit, door hingepin and detent kit, AMD rear taillight panel, AMD lower rear window panel, front end hardware kit, windshield, dash pad, front arm rest bases are all new. There is an 8.5 posi rear end with 3.73 gears in it and brand new Cal Trac bars in the car.At some point a sunroof was installed. Since then the roof panel has been replaced. I finished the welding and filled the factory seams with AllMetal, there is no lead in the seams. Interior floor pans have also been replaced. The body was taken down to bare metal (all but the trunk hinges) it was then sprayed with self etching primer then 2K urethane gray primer. What you see in the pictures is a properly prepped surface with no old paint hiding underneath. There is some old body work shown in the pictures. I did not find anything too crazy during the paint stripping and sand blasting. The only rot left on the car is also shown in the pictures. The front subframe is from a 1978 Nova, it was set up with the 1970 bumper mounts. The front end of the car fits as it should. This subframe has front mount steering linkage and disc brakes. This also provides for easier engine install if you run a big block chevy with headers. Original steering column is included.Overall the car is in very good shape for a 1970. There is no motor or transmission. I do have a clear title that is in my name. I can deliver the car within 100 miles of my house. I will work this out with the buyer. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Car is being sold as is. Bidders with a positive feedback score under 10 must contact me prior to bidding. Returns not accepted. I will make myself available for anyone who wishes to come see the car. I am open to realistic offers on the car.
