1962 Chevrolet Corvette Base Convertible Additional Info:

This Beautiful Corvette has undergone a complete nut and bolt restoration and was recently finished. This car scored a 91.5 at a recent Chevrolet Expo held in Galveston Texas. Every component of this car has been addressed and every effort was used to restore this car to factory correctness. There were just over 4000 of these 340hp cars made and this is a great example of Chevrolet's flagship sports car.
This corvette features a Correct from oil pan to air cleaner RE code 1962 engine, original Transmission and Positrac 3:73 rear end. Tachometer, speedometer, wiper motor and clock have all been restored to new condition and operate properly. All Suspension was removed, blasted, primed and painted, reassembled with new wear components and is in perfect working order. All correct right down to the factory gray stripe on the front springs. New heater core, hoses and belts installed. The convertible top was disassembled, blasted and reassembled with all new hardware and new top, it looks perfect. Windshield and frame were removed, cleaned and reinstalled with a new gasket. there is a small crack in the original to the car windshield.
All chrome is either NOS or rechromed and original.
This fantastic Corvette runs and drives like brand new.
