Laser Straight - 350 V8 - Classic - Show Quality

Vintage Motorcars is proud to present this 1970 Chevrolet El Camino.

This classic Bow Tie recently arrived from sunny, dry Arizona, and is absolutely rock-solid.

The exterior paint resembles a shade darker than Fathom Blue, and is of high quality. The base coat / clear coat was clearly applied professionally, and not in someone's garage. The sheetmetal appears to all be original, so you know the door and hood gaps are near perfect. The white SS stripe kit may not be factory on a non-SS, but it looks phenomenal under the clear coat. All the chrome and stainless is in beautiful condition, and shines like new! All the glass is in excellent shape as well as all the lights and bezels.

The interior is in excellent shape. The front bench seat recently had brand new vinyl upholstery installed. The gauges, carpet, headliner and steering wheel are all in great condition. For added convenience; cruise control has been installed. The dash does have a hairline crack which is typical for cars out of the Valley of the Sun.

The bed of this truck has a spray-in bedliner so you can haul your chairs, tent and cooler to the shows without having to worry about scratching the bed. Of course... a custom tonneau cover blankets the top of your belongings just in case it rains.

Most importantly the GM small block 350 V8 roars to life with the simple twist of the key, and idles exactly like it should. This power plant will get you down the road with ease while providing the classic V8 rumble out of the dual pipes. The engine is mated to a TH350 automatic transmission with a nice highway gear for cruising. Both of which perform flawlessly with no smoke or hesitation.

Since the original engine is gone, and the paint is not correct to the trim tag... some would call this truck a "driver". I would agree, but add that this is one of the best "drivers" I have ever owned!
