1984 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 3500 Additional Info:

1984 rust free D30. Does have a little rust on the inside cab quarters. No other rust is evident, at all. Body is pretty straight, but there is bondo here and there. It was driven by young jarheads I'm sure. Off the Marine base at Barstow, CA. Never seen salt. Engine is not the original and smokes. Tranny and transfer case are leaking from sitting. Dana 60 front, Detroit Locker in the rear. 4.56 gears so 45 mph max cruising speed, 55 mph red line.12 Volt conversion done and full instrumentation installed. Original Speedometer and Fuel gauge retained. I have owned this since 2007, had it on the road in 2008. 11,000 miles on it when I bought it. Has Ford front brakes, I would restore to original. Ford two puck discs are superior, but I hate potluck in a vehicle. New hubs installed, self limiting glow plugs with momentary switch and solenoid in 2008. Used full instrumentation acquired from ebay out of parts truck in Pennsylvania. Set up for 2 batteries, but comes with one. Front end is tight. No way to prove mileage, but I believe it is genuine. Front seat was pristine when I got it, cracked as soon as I sat on it. No offers entertained. Over $6,500 invested, $4,500 opening bid is the least I will take. Tool box and rifle rack not included.
