1989 Chevrolet Corvette Leather Interior Additional Info:
This beautiful, '89 Corvette has been my baby for the past 9 years! Snow white exterior and bright red leather interior. She was a gift from my husband, and I couldn't be more heartbroken to have to sell her. I have worked in a business that required me to be on the road for almost the entire time I have had this lovely Vette, and I have transported her each time I was deployed to a new location, so that I could drive her whenever I had any free time. I have kept her detailed and loved and all of the other things true Corvette people understand. She runs and drives like a dream, and when you step on the accelerator, there is definitely that unmistakable Corvette power, made more enjoyable topless! I am always getting compliments and have been very proud to have had her as long as I have been privileged to.She is all original, and all I have had to do in that time is replace the brake booster, the oil pressure sensor and the starter. Also, just put new plastic window in the rear of the convertible top.Again, it breaks my heart to see her go, however, sometimes life gets in the way and one has to make sacrifices in order to take care of their family. But for that, I would have kept her for the rest of my life. I hope that the new owner will give her the loving home and care I was able to provide. She has been in the garage all winter, except for the weekly start-up and backing her out into the sunshine on nicer days. I hadn't detailed her prior to the photos being taken, but will have done so before the auction's end.I can provide a very good transport company's information to whomever wins the auction. I have used them exclusively over the years, and they are prompt, professional and offer reasonable costs. I don't believe I ever paid over 1k to get her anywhere I was, the furthest was from Key West. The car is currently in New York (Long Island), but I have only been here for about just over a year. Never driven in snow, or even heavy rain for that matter! No rust to worry about. There is a 1000.00 non-refundable deposit required at he end of the auction, and the remaining balance will need to be paid within 72 hours, either certified funds or cash.I am happy to help you make arrangements for the transportation, although, of course, the cost will be up to the winning bidder.I have not registered her since 2011, since I was only back in Texas once since I got her, and my work is such that there was never any time to do so. I have driven her without current registration without worry, but that was a chance I was willing to take, and I wouldn't recommend anybody else do it.I have the clean title in hand, no liens or other issues whatsoever.Bidders MUST be serious, and not waste my time or cause someone else to lose out on the car.I am happy to answer any questions.
